Courtyard Café

The Café serves a delicious range of hand made Island cakes, a variety of home made scones freshly baked each day, plus flapjacks, chocolate brownies and Sharon slice (named after our cook who makes them!).

We serve a selection of light and delicious lunches, which includes an Island Ploughman's lunch with a choice of local cheeses and chutneys, home made soup and crusty bread, filled rolls and ciabattas, Island 'Sausages in Blankets' and fresh salads with home grown leaves from across the road and sometimes eggs from our own Chessell hens!

We use only local ingredients in our 'Ultimate Island Cream Tea' - Stoneground Island flour, Island butter and milk and it is served with real, thick clotted cream from local Calbourne Classics cows on the farm up the road, as well as delicious strawberry jam which Jack lovingly makes for us by hand in a village around the corner.

All served on the much loved strawberry design Chessell Ware, totally hand made and hand decorated at our pottery - available online and in the Gift Barn.
