Aiden & Louise moved to the Island in 2003 incorporating Chessell Pottery into their London Pottery Café business. Chessell Pottery had been a working pottery for over 25 years. They set about breathing new life into it and creating a visitor centre that combined their pottery business with their passion for great food.
At the same time, they converted two historic barns into four-star holiday cottages.
Aiden & Louise love living in the beautiful West Wight and have 3 lively and growing boys. The business is very much family run as they strive to make it a special place to visit whatever the occasion, whether it is something creative to do on a rainy day with the children, a 70th birthday tea party or just to pop in and enjoy the café.
If you are able we urge you to visit, and if you can't, we hope that you will enjoy browsing our carefully selected and unique range of pottery, toys and gifts which makes up the beautiful Gift Barn at Chessell, much of which is also available in our London studios.
